Components of healthy food

   In order for a person to be healthy, in his body every day must receive (in addition to a sufficient amount of oxygen) along with food a certain amount of nutrients. Food consists mainly of two main components: nutritional and vital substances. Nutrients contain calories and serve to generate energy, are also used as a building material for cells. Vital substances do not carry calories and do not perform plastic functions, but among other things they are responsible for the transformation of food in the course of the chemical process. To the body could support life, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, ballast substances, vitamins, minerals and trace elements, enzymes, secondary vital substances, liquid are required. Proteins, carbohydrates and fats are the foundation of daily consumed food.
